Wake Forest head coach Danny Manning has landed his top target. Chaundee Brown will be a Demon Deacon. The announcement Sunday is massive news for a program looking to find a cornerstone player for the future.

Perhaps even sweeter for Manning, he got the commitment from the 6-foot-5 First Academy (FL) guard over his alma mater, Kansas, as well as Florida and Maryland.

Brown committed on his official visit over the weekend.

Brown, who was just outside the initial Flo40, is the second member of Wake Forest's 2017 recruiting class and joins Clinton Christian (MD) forward Melo Eggleston.
