TEAM PREVIEW:
DeMatha Catholic has been a model of consistency in one of the toughest conferences in the country, the Washington County Athletic Conference (WCAC). It has captured the most league titles by a staggering margin (39) with Gonzaga (MD) in second place with six. However, DeMatha has not won a conference title since 2011, which leaves this team hungry to put itself back on top. Although the Stags lose top 10 senior Markelle Fultz (Washington), they return two high-major commits -- Josh Carlton and DJ Harvey. Alongside its high-major stars, Dematha features leading summer and fall league scorer Justin Moore, last year's freshman team MVP Bobby Carson, and last year's leading junior varsity scorer Casten Kogelnik. Look for DeMatha Catholic to have another successful season, following its 95-15 run over the previous three campaigns.
