After locking up point guard Shai Alexander long in advance to headline the class, Gators head coach Mike White followed with wing DeAundre Ballard and now has landed Huntington Prep (WV) forward Chase Johnson.

At 6-foot-7, Johnson is a versatile forward who chose Florida before taking official visits to Tennessee and West Virginia and is a nice complement to the already established 2017 class.
For K-State, head coach Bruce Weber and his staff landed one of its top priorities in Vashon (MO) big man Levi Stockard. Not only has the 6-foot-8 powerful forward been on the Wildcats' radar for a while, he is also perhaps the top overall commitment to go along with Nigel Shadd, an athletic forward, and shooting guard Mike McGuirl for their 2017 class.
