The situation is rather unusual, but it all worked out the way Daejon Davis wanted. He made the decision he felt most comfortable with, and it just so happened to be the exact same one as before.

Davis, the No. 40 prospect in 2017, recommitted to Washington over Gonzaga, Oregon, and Stanford on Monday, ending his recruitment once and for all. After pledging to the Huskies during his junior season, the Garfield (WA) guard decided to open up his commitment before eventually committing to UW head coach Lorenzo Romar once again.

A 6-foot-3 versatile guard, Davis is another great pickup for Washington and now officially joins a loaded class featuring Flo40 No. 1 Michael Porter Jr., Garfield teammate Jaylen Nowell, and Blake Harris, and Mamoudou Diarra. The Huskies are making a case to have the No. 1 class for 2017.
