The Return Of Rawle Alkins Skyrockets Arizona's Expectations
Arizona sophomore guard Rawle Alkins is expected to take the Wildcats to new heights during the 2017-18 season.
In college basketball, having a star freshman test the NBA Draft waters is far from uncommon these days. Getting him to return to school, however, is a little different story.
After averaging 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists during the 2016-17 season and attending the NBA Draft Combine this spring, Rawle Alkins felt it was best to return to Arizona for his sophomore season, which starts during a three-game tour in Spain live on FloHoops.

The 6-foot-5 versatile guard did not sign with an agent, leaving the door open for him play for the Wildcats. The decision immediately elevated the program's already lofty expectations for next season.
Only time will tell how the Pac-12 Conference All-Freshmen Team selection will follow up his sensational debut season, but you better believe he has been working in the gym to make an even bigger splash.
