Southern Stampede's Jalen Lecque Dunks His Way To High-Major Status

Many of the top prospects were known heading into Nike EYBL. Others have built a name over time. For Jalen Lecque, the rise to stardom happened immediately.

Ever since the Southern Stampede (GA) combo guard dropped 35 points in his opening game of the season, his stock has taken off. No longer is he a low-to-mid-major prospect. The 6-foot-1 Bronx, NY, native has dunked his way to offers from Miami, Minnesota, Kansas State, Seton Hall, and Wake Forest, among others.

Through three sessions, Lecque, now a 2019 prospect, averages 17.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while helping his squad get back into Peach Jam discussions with a 3-1 weekend in Session III.

How high will Lecque climb? If his jumping ability is any indication, he is set to take off even more in the months to come.
