Starting Five Storylines To Follow At Nike EYBL Session II
INDIANAPOLIS -- For as exciting Nike EYBL Session I was, with its mixture of anticipation and high-level play, it's time to forget about it right now. This is a new weekend, a new session, a new location, and a new opportunity for teams and players to rise up and prove who is the best.

When the nation's best take over Jonathan Byrd's Fieldhouse from Friday to Sunday, eyes will be everywhere. Not only are college coaches looking to find their program's next superstars, but everyone is also still trying to figure each other out.

Here are the top storylines to follow for Session II:

null

Will this be Jontay Porter's final Nike EYBL run?

Rumors have swirled for quite some time surrounding the Flo40 forward and the possibility of him reclassifying to play with his brother and for his dad at Missouri next season. And with an official visit to the Tigers squeezed between these two action-packed weekends, the chances are still there. Regardless if it happens or not, and if this is the last time Porter plays at the prep level, he is definitely one of the top players to watch after completely balling out in Session I by averaging 19.2 points and 13.0 rebounds to help MOKAN Elite (KS) to a perfect 4-0 record to start.

Can Marvin Bagley III get Nike Phamily back on track?

Despite a monster weekend in which he led the entire league in points and rebounds, the nation's No. 1 player in 2018 and his squad went winless in Session I. There's no sense in hitting the panic button right now, but it appears Bagley will have to remain at a high level at all times in order to push his squad back on the right side of the bubble.

Who will be the last undefeated team?

It came as no surprise there were a good handful of teams who went undefeated last weekend, but it was the list of those squads that caught everyone off guard. Sure, a couple of them could have been predicted, but it would have been hard to find anyone who had MeanStreets (IL), PSA Cardinals (NY), Boo Williams (VA), MOKAN Elite (KS), and City Rocks (NY) all as unbeaten through the first weekend. Was it a fluke? Maybe not. Then again, maybe it was. But it is important to track which will be the last undefeated team standing and how it handles the pressure.

What will certain teams look like?

This might seem odd, but it's just the way things go. There are bound to be player defections, and it will be interesting to monitor who stayed and left on many of the league's teams after the first weekend.

Why does BABC (MA) always get slept on?

As a team to always make it to Peach Jam, it seems BABC (MA) doesn't get the credit it sometimes deserves. Although 3-1 was not the best outing of Session I, it's still incredibly solid. There's plenty of size and talent on this roster, including Cole Swider (21.8 ppg.) to make even more noise, too. It's time to wake up and start realizing this team is legit once again.
