The 12 Stock Risers In The Latest 2018 Flo40 Rankings
Every spring, like clockwork, there is a long list of prospects who improve their stocks. This year was no different, and no circuit saw more risers than the Nike EYBL.

Of the 12 players to make a jump up in the 2018 Flo40 rankings, seven of them were in the EYBL, including four who made a jump into the top 10, and will play in either Peach Jam or the Peach Invitational Tournament from July 12-16 in North Augusta, SC.

Here is why each made a move up heading into this month's live evaluation periods:

Bol Bol (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 3
Previous Ranking: 17

At 7-foot-1, Bol Bol was a force on both ends on all spring. He rocked the rim and nailed 3-pointers. He swatted shots and corralled rebounds in traffic. There wasn't much the California Supreme big man didn't do, and his 24.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 4.4 blocks only scratch the surface for the type of prospect he is becoming.

Tre Jones (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 6
Previous Ranking: 19

If being the best player on the best team or earning league MVP honors wasn't enough, Jones was a phenomenal stat stuffer, too. He averaged 18.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and led the EYBL with 8.3 assists. He is the top point guard in the class and rightfully so.

Darius Garland (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 8
Previous Ranking: 9

Simply put, the 6-foot Garland is a winner. He makes everyone around him better and can take over a game at anytime. He averaged a steady 16.8 points and 4.8 assists and has some of the nation's top programs such as Baylor, Duke, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Louisville, and Xavier, among many others, after him.

Jontay Porter (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 9
Previous Ranking: 23

The 6-foot-10 power forward stepped out of the shadows of his older brother, 2017 Flo40 No. 1 Michael Porter Jr., and was absolutely dominant. Whether it was using his smooth left-handed jumper, finishing at the rim, or snatching rebounds, Jontay, a Missouri commit, showed an all-around game of 18.1 points and 12.6 rebounds to earn a top 10 ranking.

Keldon Johnson (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 10
Previous Ranking: 16

With a great combination of length and athleticism, the potential for the 6-foot-8 Johnson to make a major impact was always there, and it all came to fruition during the EYBL. He elevated his game to a level unseen from him before to average 20.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists and make Boo Williams one of the top teams in the league.

Jaylen Hoard (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 19
Previous Ranking: 35

Playing on a Team CP3 squad filled with guards, the 6-foot-8 wing showed his ability to play all over the floor. He was a great secondary scorer to average 14.8 points and led his team in rebounding at 6.9 each game. Programs such as Arizona, California, Maryland, NC State, and Wake Forest will continue to be heavily involved although there's a big chance the French native, who returned home, won't play in Peach Jam at all.

Jahvon Quinerly (UA Association)

New Ranking: 20
Previous Ranking: 27

Although Quinerly is obviously not the biggest point guard in the class, it's hard to find a better leader than the 6-foot floor general. He can do it all and is the engine for Sports U. His finalists include Arizona, Kansas, Seton Hall, Stanford, UCLA, Villanova, and Virginia.

Quentin Grimes (adidas)

New Ranking: 21
Previous Ranking: 31

Grimes is already a highly sought prospect, and his recruitment has a chance to get heated this month. He has a nice pull-up game and can get to the rack, making him a priority for some of the top programs in the country.

Reggie Perry (adidas)

New Ranking: 22
Previous Ranking: 26

The 6-foot-8 power forward is already committed to Arkansas, but the way he continues to play proves why it is such a massive pick up for the Razorbacks. He is versatile offensively and is a solid post defender. The future in Fayetteville is bright.

Luguentz Dort (adidas)

New Ranking: 23
Previous Ranking: 40

No one has seen his stock, both on the court and on the recruiting trail, pick up more than Dort. The strong combo gets after it on both ends, and there was plenty to like about his game while playing for Brookwood Bounce Elite. There's a chance he makes his college decision before the fall.

Ayo Dosunmu (Nike EYBL)

New Ranking: 26
Previous Ranking: 29

With a mixture of toughness and speed, the 6-foot-4 bucket-getting guard is one of the best downhill players in the country. He always seems to get to the rim with ease and averaged 21.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in the EYBL and has a growing list of high-major programs always watching.

Devon Dotson (UA Association)

New Ranking: 30
Previous Ranking: 32

At 6-foot-2, Dotson is always in attack mode, can score in bunches, and has shown the ability to lead a high-powered team. He averaged 18.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.2 steals for Team Charlotte and recently dropped a top eight of Kansas, USC, Maryland, Ohio State, Florida, Arizona, Wake Forest, and Miami (FL).
