Coker guard Dasia Lambert has been named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played during Week 11 of the 2022-2023 season, the conference announced Monday. 

Lambert, a sophomore from Mount Airy, North Carolina, put up a pair of 23-point games for Coker, as the Cobras defeated Newberry (75-49) and Emory & Henry (95-74). 

She averaged 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 steals, while shooting 56.7% from the field, 62.5% from the free-throw line and 62.5% from 3-point range.
