Wake Forest Baseball is the consensus No.1 ranked team in college baseball and is the overwhelming favorite to win the ACC according to coaches.

The Demon Deacons reached the national semifinals of the College World Series in 2023 and nearly knocked out eventual champion LSU in the national semifinals. The two played in one of the best CWS games ever, as a pair of 2023 MLB Draft top-10 picks, pitchers Rhett Lowder and Paul Skenes went head to head.

Wake wants to finish the story in 2024. They will attempted to become the first ACC national champion since Virginia in 2015. Wake has not win the national championship since 1955. 

But the Demon Deacons aren’t the only ACC team with championship hopes. 

That includes Florida State, Clemson and Virginia. The ACC makes the cases as the second-best conference in college baseball with six teams ranked in the top-25.

Who Will Win The ACC Baseball Title In 2024? No.1 Wake Forest Baseball Is The Favorite

Preseason No.1 Wake Forest is picked to win the ACC and the ACC Atlantic Division. Led by one of the top prospects in all of baseball, first baseman Nick Kurtz, the Demon Deacons took 10 of the 14 first-place votes and 12 of the 14 Atlantic division votes. 

Virginia is picked to win the Coastal Division.
