With the conclusion of the CAA men's basketball regular reason on March 1, the brackets are set for the CAA Men's Basketball Tournament 2024. This year's tournament will take place from March 8-12 in Washington D.C as teams compete for a Championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. 

Charleston Men's Basketball (23-7, 14-3) finished the season with a 96-73 win over Campbell to win the outright Coastal Athletic Association regular season championship. The Cougars take the No. 1 seed heading into the tournament and will have a chance to defend their 2023 CAA Tournament Championship.

Here's a look at all 13 teams bracket seeding heading into the first round of the 2024 CAA Men's Basketball Championship.

Friday, March 8 – First Round

  • Game 1: No. 12 North Carolina A&T vs. No. 13 William & Mary – 2 p.m., FloHoops
  • Game 2: No. 11 Elon vs. No. 14 Hampton – 4:30 p.m., FloHoops

Saturday, March 9 – Second Round

  • Game 3: No. 8 Monmouth vs. No. 9 Campbell – 12 p.m., FloHoops

CAA Men's Basketball Tournament Schedule

All Times Eastern

  • Round 1 will begin Friday, March 8 with game one at 2pm Game two will be played at 4:30pm
  • Round 2 will begin Saturday, March 9 with four games from 12 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 
  • Quarterfinals will begin Sunday, March 10 with four games from 12 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 
  • Semifinals will begin Monday, March 11 at 6pm and 8:30pm 
  • The championship game will begin Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m.

How To Watch The 2024 CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament

The first three rounds, including the quarterfinals, will be streamed on FloHoops and the FloSports App.

Both the semifinals and championship game will be available on the CBS Sports Network.

Where Is The 2024 CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament

The CAA men’s tournament will be returning to Washington, D.C. All games will be held at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. 

When Does The 2024 NCAA Tournament Start?

The tournament will begin with Selection Sunday on March 17, followed by the First Four on March 19-20. 

After the opening round is complete, the field will be set with the top 64 teams and the first round will start on March 21-22.

What Is Selection Sunday?

Selection Sunday is the day the NCAA committee releases the full tournament bracket initial seeding of all 68 teams. 

Thirty-two teams will automatically qualify for the tournament by winning their conference tournament. 

That leaves 36 other teams fighting for an at-large bid from the selection committee, which is considered through multiple stats and rankings to determine who receives the at-large bid.
