Campbell baseball is running on all cylinders as the team faces a single-game series against Lafayette before the beginning of CAA baseball conference play next week. The Camels rolled through Bucknell over the weekend, scoring a combined 46 runs against the Bison in three games--including 20 runs and eight home runs in the final game of the series.

Campbell baseball is 11-4 on the season, and ranked within the top 25 in both the Coaches Poll (No. 23) and the D1Baseball poll (No. 21). The Camels currently sit at No. 21 in RPI, one place above Wake Forest, who started the season as the undisputed No. 1-ranked team in all polls. 

Lafayette baseball have started the season running through a gauntlet of strong opponents. The Leopards are currently 1-12, but have yet to play a team without a winning record. The program has played series against East Tennessee State (11-4), Oregon (11-4), Delaware (8-6) and high-flying Wofford (12-2) to start the season. The Leopards took one game from Delaware, winning 4-2. 

It won't get any easier for Lafayette against Campbell, who ranks 39th in Division I in runs per game with 8.8.
