The 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is days away as the official bracket was announced during the NCAA Selection Sunday Show. 

CAA Men’s Basketball regular season champion and CAA Tournament Champion, College of Charleston, has the league’s automatic bid and will be headed to the West Region on Friday to play Alabama Basketball in Spokane, Washington.

The Cougars went 27-7 this season and 15-3 in the Coastal Athletic Association.

Coached  by Pat Kelsey, the Cougars are returning to the tournament for the second year in a row. The Cougars reached the tournament in 2023 and nearly advanced out of the round of 64 before losing to San Diego State, 63-57. San Diego State went to reach the Final Four.

When Does The 2024 NCAA Tournament Start?

The tournament will begin with Selection Sunday on March 17, followed by the First Four on March 19-20. 

After the opening round is complete, the field will be set with the top 64 teams and the first round will start on March 21-22.
