As the Division III women’s basketball season heats up, Week 3 is shaping up to deliver plenty of action.

NYU returns after claiming the 2025 and 2024 national titles, both earned with perfect 31-0 seasons. The Violets have picked up right where they left off, opening this year with a seven-game winning streak that includes six games with triple-digit scoring.

Scranton (7-0), UW–Oshkosh (5-0) and Smith (5-0) also remain undefeated. If NYU falters, these teams are poised to pounce. East Texas Baptist put together a strong early slate as well, but recently took its first loss of the season to St. Thomas, 69-55, dropping to 7-1.

Here are five can’t-miss games featuring top Division III teams:

Moravian vs. Scranton — Dec. 3, 7 p.m. ET

Scranton hosts Moravian for its third Landmark Conference game of the season. With an undefeated record and home-court advantage, the Royals present a tough challenge for Moravian.

Williams College vs. Smith — Dec. 3, 7 p.m. ET

Smith welcomes Williams College to Northampton, Massachusetts, for a clash in Ainsworth Gym. The Pioneers are riding a four-game winning streak and haven’t lost since Week 1, when they were still finding their footing.

UW-Oshkosh vs. Linfield — Dec. 5, 8 p.m. ET

UW–Oshkosh travels to McMinnville, Oregon, to face Linfield. The Wildcats hold a 4-1 record and are 1-0 at home. The home-court edge may help them, but Oshkosh’s perfect start speaks for itself.

East Texas Baptist vs. Concordia — Dec. 6, 2 p.m. ET

East Texas Baptist heads to Austin to take on Concordia. ETBU looks to rebound after its recent 69-55 loss to St. Thomas. Concordia enters at 1-3 but comes in with momentum after securing its first win, a narrow 58-56 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Brooklyn vs. NYU — Dec. 13, 1 p.m. ET

NYU’s dominance spans several seasons. Along with back-to-back Division III national titles, the Violets carry a 68-game winning streak into this matchup. Brooklyn College sits at 5-1 and has three more games to tune up before taking on the defending champs.
