The New York University women's basketball is on a roll in the 2025-26 season. Currently sitting at the top of the UAA standings with a perfect 18-0 season record and a 7-0 conference record, the Violets are looking to make history.

The Violets will look to tie the NCAA D3 all-time consecutive winning record, which is currently 81 wins.

The current record-holder Washington University, set the record of an 80 game win streak back in 1998 and carried that record until 2001.

The Violets defeated Carnegie Mellon narrowly on Feb 1, 58-57. In a win that may have been too close for comfort, NYU picked up it's 80th consecutive win. Brooke Batchelor was the hero for the Violets with a career high 28-point game against Carnegie Mellon.

NYU will look to tie the record for the longest win streak on Feb. 6 against Case Western Reserve University. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM ET.

If NYU picks up the win on Friday night, the Violets will look to beat and set a new NCAA D3 all-time winning record and go after their 82nd win on Feb. 8 in a rematch against Carnegie Mellon. Tip off is set for 12:00 PM ET.
