2026 Colgate vs Drexel - Men's — Nov. 7
Drexel welcomes Colgate to Philadelphia on Nov. 7 for an early-season test against a Patriot League opponent.
The Dragons will look to defend their home court and build momentum before CAA play begins, in a rematch against Colgate. Last season, the Raiders had a strong first half, eventually leading to the win. Yet the Dragons played strong defensively, outrebounding the Raiders 30-27.
With both teams working to establish their rotations and find consistency, this matchup offers an early look at how they are shaping up for the season.
2026 Norfolk State vs William & Mary - Men's — Nov. 8
Two Virginia programs meet when William & Mary hosts Norfolk State on Nov. 8.
This will be the 8th meeting between the two teams. The Tribe holds the win record 4-3 and has a strong home-court advantage, winning 3-1 in Williamsburg.
With regional bragging rights on the line, and the Tribe looking to win 3 straight, we'll get to see what this young William & Mary team is made of.
2026 Harvard vs Northeastern - Men's — Nov. 10
Boston basketball takes center stage when Northeastern hosts Harvard on Nov. 10.
The Huskies have only lost once to Harvard. Last season, top scorer Ryan Williams dropped 21 points in this CAA/Ivy matchup, going 8/12 in the paint and 5/7 in 3-pointers. We'll be keeping an eye on him to see what he does this year.
Both teams will look to build early momentum, making this regional showdown one to watch during the opening weeks of the season.
2026 James Madison vs Towson - Men's — Nov. 18
CAA fans will get a familiar matchup when James Madison visits Towson on Nov. 18.
Although the programs now compete in different conferences, their shared CAA history adds another layer of interest to the meeting. These teams have played since 2002, a long history between the Tigers and the Dukes.
Also, there's a halftime show you don't want to miss. Mutts Gone Nuts is coming to SECU Arena, and you are going to want to watch it for yourself live.
2026 Delaware vs Stony Brook - Men's — Nov. 28
Delaware travels to Long Island on Nov. 28 to face former CAA rival, Stony Brook.
The programs' shared conference history adds familiarity to the matchup, and Stony Brook is looking to keep its undefeated at-home record going against the Blue Hens.
