Colorado snags a much-needed duo. Iowa lands big-time recruits. Minnesota and Mississippi State each strike gold. Prospects for 2017 are flying off the board at a high rate these days, and those schools were the big winners this past weekend.

But perhaps no program had a better weekend than Colorado. The Buffaloes picked up verbal commitments from Tyler Bey and D'shawn Schwartz to boost their roster for the 2017-18 season. Schwartz also has one of the best commitment videos out there:


Iowa landed two bigs in Luka Garza and Jack Nunge, Minnesota got an explosive scorer in Isaiah Washington, and Mississippi State secured the talented Nick Weatherspoon.

The only other Power 5 commitment was shooting guard Mike McGuirl, who pledged to Kansas State.
