Sad news coming out of the pro arena today. Beloved NBA announcer, Craig Sager, was given the news he has only "3-6 months to live."

You may know Craig Sager from his flamboyant wardrobe and chipper attitude on NBA on TNT. Sager has been a staple of NBA broadcasting for over 20 years. For the last two years, he has spent time away from the court due to his battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Recently, Sager revealed to Bernard Goldberg of Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, that he has been told he doesn't have long to live.

Well, whatever it takes. I’m not going to be that three-to-six months, I’m going to be that five years. We’re going to make medical history.

We hope Sager makes medical history and he's with us for years to come. The NBA would be missing an icon, and, more importantly, a friend.
