Thon Maker is a 19-year-old standout from South Sudan that played prep ball in Canada. Earlier, Maker revealed that he would skip college and enter the NBA draft. To some, it sounded ridiculous that Maker would make such a leap considering he was still in high school. However, reports show that Maker actually graduated from high school in June of 2015, but played high school basketball for another year.

The NBA ruled that since Maker is 19 and one year removed from his high school graduation, he will be eligible to enter the draft. Maker will also hire an agent. According to most draft experts, Maker is expected to go in the top 20.
