Hampton, VA | Session 3

May 13: Spiece Indy Heat (IN), 5-2, vs Oakland Soldiers (CA), 3-4
After a rough 1-4 start, this is a crucial game for the Oakland Soldiers to reach .500 on the season. Spiece Indy Heat have been a bit of a surprise in the early season after starting 5-2, and will look to continue their success behind Jaren Jackson (2017 6-9 PF), who is averaging 16 points and 7.3 rebounds. Alex Barcello (2017 6-2 PG) leads the Oakland Soldiers with 14.7 points per game through seven.

May 13: California Supreme (CA), 5-2, vs. Houston Hoops (TX), 2-5
California Supreme went 4-0 in session two behind twin towers DeAndre Ayton (2017 7-0 C), who is averaging 19.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game, and Brandon McCoy (2017 7-0 C) with 18.4-point and 9.4-rebound averages. Despite a slow start, the Houston Hoops are one of the few teams that can match California Supreme in the paint with a pair of talented big men of their own, Jarred Vanderbilt (2017 6-9 PF; 13.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists) and Billy Preston (2017 6-9 PF; 11.9 points, 9 rebounds). This will be a matchup of epic proportions in the paint.

May 15: Team Penny (TN), 5-2, vs. The Rens (NY), 5-2
Team Penny and The Rens are both off to solid starts in EYBL play. PJ Washington (2017 6-8 PF; 20.1 points, 11.4 rebounds) and Khalil Garland (2017 6-6 SG; 12.3 points) have led Team Penny to an early 5-2 record. Meanwhile, The Rens have been paced by their star duo, 2017's Hamidou Diallo (20.3 points, 5.6 rebounds) and Jordan Tucker (6-7 SF; 12.3 points, 4.1 rebounds). The Rens started strong in their first season on the Nike EYBL circuit and will face off against a program that is a mainstay in Peach Jam play.

Atlanta, GA | Session 4

May 28: Team CP3 (NC), 5-2, vs. Georgia Stars (GA), 4-3
Talk about a revenge game. Elite player Wendell Carter (2017 6-10 PF; 18.8 points, 13.5 rebounds) switched over from the defending champion Georgia Stars to Team CP3. The game will also feature a monster big-man matchup as Chuma Okeke (2017 6-8 PF; 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds) faces Carter. This game will certainly be chippy throughout.

May 29: E1T1 United (FL), 4-3, vs. Howard Pulley (MN), 7-0
Undefeated Howard Pulley, led by prolific scorer Gary Trent, Jr. (2016 6-6 SG; 22.7 points, 6 rebounds) will face off against elite Kevin Knox (2017 6-8 SF; 21.3 points, 7.6 rebounds). Don’t count E1T1 out of the division race just because of Howard Pulley’s hot start. E1T1 has a loaded roster with Knox and Emmitt Williams (2018 6-7 PF; 12 points, 5.7 rebounds). This matchup may be an important determinant for Division B.

May 30: PSA Cardinals (NY), 6-1, vs. Expressions Elite (MA), 4-3
The individual matchups in this game are incredible. Mohamed Bamba (2017 7-0 C; 12.7 points, 13.9 rebounds, 3.1 blocks) will face off against Nick Richards (2017 6-11 C; 11.9 points, 8.3 rebounds). The point guard matchup will also be one to watch as the EYBL’s assist leader Quade Green (2017 6-0 PG; 12.9 points, 11 assists) will go head-to-head with Tremont Waters (2017 5-11 PG; 14 points, 4.9 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 steals). The explosive guards and talented bigs will be the centerpieces of this matchup between Northeast powerhouses.

May 30: Team Final (NY), 6-1, vs. Mokan Elite (KS), 6-1
This game could determine the Division D title. Both teams are off to good starts and are strong contenders to make a deep run in the Peach Jam. Team Final is led by their elite scoring duo, Lonnie Walker (2017 6-5 SG; 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3 assists) and Cameron Reddish (2018 6-7 SF; 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists). They will be countered by Mokan Elite's superstar tandem, Michael Porter, Jr. (2017 6-8 SF; 19.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists) and Trae Young (2017 6-2 PG; 18 points, 6.3 assists). These two teams are deep and talented, and should match up well on the final day of EYBL play.
