The American women continue to show the world why they're the team to beat in these Olympic games with an incredible performance over Serbia.

There's a reason why basketball fans and media have been talking about this being the best group of women the United States has ever fielded for international play. The team has incredible roster depth and has decimated teams on both ends of the court.

Today's game against Serbia was no different. The game started fairly evenly, with Serbia finding their range early from beyond the arc. It forced the Americans to play an outside game. But the theme for these American games is the depth. Where Serbia's kept it close, their bench couldn't keep the same pace with the American squad.

That was the difference maker.

The Americans opened up a lead in the second half and then opted to put the second line on the floor for the fourth quarter. Depth means that the second line includes women such as Delle Donne and Tina Charles are on the floor.

Yeah.

The final score was 110-84.
