Can anyone stop the United States Women's basketball team? No. No they cannot. 

Friday afternoon, the United States faced off against Canada in the fourth game of the opening round. Canada took the court as an undefeated team. When the final buzzer sounded, they had their heads hung low. It's just an on-going theme for the United States. Behind Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi, the team continues to get out to an early lead on everyone they face. 

Canada showed a lot of heart in the first half, keeping the game relatively close. But the team is just way too young to be competitive against an immensely talented American squad. 

The ongoing theme for these games is roster depth. The United States has the ability to give Taurasi and Griner a breather because they know that Delle Donne and Lindsey Whalen will pick up the slack. The rest of the field lacks that level of talent. They stay competitive in the early minutes but once the second half starts, the Americans are jus too much.

The United States will face China on Sunday in the final game of the opening round.
