It was quite the amazing week for Leah Church. First, she broke a world record. Then, the 2017 guard announced her commitment to a Division I school.
Church, a 5-foot-8 guard from North Carolina, initially made headlines Tuesday when she broke the world record for 3-pointers made in one minute by burying 32 in 60 seconds. She broke the previous record of 26 set by Justin Dargahi of Land O'Lakes, Fla., earlier this year.
She even went on to sink 55 in a row total.
Church, who plays for Forest Trail Academy, is no stranger to Internet spotlight, either. After all, she made 120 3-pointers in five minutes just last summer.
To top it all off, too, Church announced her commitment to in-state program NC State on Thursday via Twitter.

Needless to say, it will be hard to top the week the 18-year-old Church just had.
