Coming off an official visit this past weekend, it didn't take long for Wabissa Bede to make up his mind. The 2017 Cushing Academy (CT) combo guard is heading to Virginia Tech after committing to the Hokies on Wednesday.

At 6-foot-2, Bede chose the Virginia Tech over Butler, La Salle, Minnesota, and UMass. He took official visits to Virginia Tech and Butler.

Bede is the second member of Virginia Tech's 2017 recruiting class and will create a dynamic backcourt with Hamilton Heights Christian (TN) guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker in 2017-18.
