It's amazing how the landscape of an entire program can change in one day. Alabama started Thursday with zero 2017 commitments and will end it with two studs for next season.

Crimson Tide head coach Avery Johnson certainly made it a priority to go after some of the state's top talent, and he landed two of the best within hours in Hale County (AL) guard Herb Jones and Pelham (AL) forward Alex Reese.

Jones, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard, was the first to make his announcement on Twitter. The in-state product with a smooth left-handed jump shot chose Alabama following an official visit this past weekend, and picked it over Auburn, Florida, and Georgia.

Hours later, the 6-foot-9 Reese made his pledge to Alabama over Arizona State. He is expected to bring good size and versatility to the Crimson Tide lineup.
