Nike TOC: Girls Hoops' Grandest Stage Packed With Stars

Welcome to the grandest stage of them all, the Nike Tournament of Champions -- the most elite high school girls tournament in the country. Now in its 20th year, this premier event in Phoenix is sure to bring the desert heat with 86 teams ready for battle.

Since its inception, the event has hosted more than 20,000 athletes from 44 states and every Canadian province and has produced 16 of the past 18 consensus national champions.

The list of high school All-Americans, college standouts, WNBA draft picks, and Olympians is extensive, too, and from December 19-22, new stars will be born at Mesquite High School.
