Oak Hill Snaps Chino Hills' 60-Game Win Streak At Nike Extravaganza
Oak Hill Academy beat Chino Hills to break a 60-game win streak at Nike Extravaganza
If all good streaks must come to an end, one of the best in recent high school basketball history was snapped in rather epic fashion Saturday night.
In front of a sold-out crowd at the Meruelo Athletic Center at Mater Dei High School, in a game filled with as much hype as there is contrast between the two programs, No. 7 Oak Hill took down undefeated No. 6 Chino Hills, 96-91, at the Nike Extravaganza.
Lindell Wigginton finished with 35 points, Billy Preston had 16 points and 21 rebounds, and it took a strong push late for the storied and battle-tested Warriors to snap the Huskies' remarkable 60-game winning streak.

Chino Hills, a highlight factory during the win streak, didn't go down without a fight. LaMelo Ball went for a game-high 36 points, while brother LiAngelo, despite having an off shooting night, went for 23.
The streak is over, but there's no doubt it was one of the top games of the entire season.
