HAMPTON, VA -- Walking through the Boo Williams Sportsplex was a crazy experience. The buzz was unreal. The talent was everywhere. That's what Nike EYBL is all about, and Session I certainly lived up to the hype across the board.

However, through all 80 games of action and despite several noteworthy performances, there could only be five players to make this past weekend's All-Session Team.

NIKE EYBL ALL-SESSION I TEAM

G: Tre Jones (Howard Pulley, 2018 Flo40 No. 19)

Statistics: 18.0 ppg., 3.8 rpg., 9.8 apg.

Team Record: 3-1

Overview: It has always been clear Jones can fill up a stat sheet, but he was on a completely different level over the weekend. Not only was he the top floor general to start Nike EYBL, but he also started to make the case that he should be labeled the best point guard in the entire class.

G: Keldon Johnson (Boo Williams, 2018 Flo40 No. 16)

Statistics: 25.2 ppg., 9.2 rpg., 2.0 apg.

Team Record: 4-0

Overview: For everything this past year wasn't for Boo Williams -- going winless as the host and failing to make Peach Jam -- Johnson sure made up for it in a big-time way. The 6-foot-6 wing was always in attack mode and did all of his damage around the rim. He is a leader in every way for this team, and his team's perfect start proves how special he really was this past weekend.

F: Jontay Porter (MOKAN Elite, 2018 Flo40 No. 23)

Statistics: 19.2 ppg., 13.0 rpg., 2.8 apg.

Team Record: 4-0

Overview: It may have been a coming out party to some, but it's hard to really say this came as any sort of surprise. Everyone wanted to know how Porter would look without playing alongside his brother, 2017 Flo40 No. 1 Michael Porter Jr., and, man, it was something else. Alpha-Jontay is scary good. He finds his spots well and knocks down jumpers. This has always been his game, and it was so fun to watch.

F: Emmitt Williams (E1T1, 2018 Flo40 No. 11)

Statistics: 18.2 ppg., 12.5 rpg

Team Record: 3-1

Overview: Go ahead and try to find a player who plays with as much energy as Williams. Actually, don't. Let's save some time here because it might not be impossible. The elite power forward is such a fierce rebounder, and his final two outings with 19 and 21 boards, respectively, were just an appetizer for the kind of numbers he is capable of putting up all spring.

F: Marvin Bagley III (Nike Phamily, 2018 Flo40 No. 1)

Statistics: 25.5 ppg., 13.8 rpg., 3.8 bpg.

Team Record: 0-4

Overview: Although it may be hard to look past the winless session, it's just as difficult to not acknowledge the numbers the nation's top player posted. Bagley led all players in points and rebounds and finished second in blocks. There is still plenty of time to turn this thing around as a team, and it's rather obvious it will take more performances like this moving forward, but there's no doubt the impact and production Bagley has, even with being the focal point every opponent's scouting report.
