Nike EYBL Peachology: The Risers & Fallers

The exclusive Peach Jam predictions after Nike EYBL Session II at Jonathan Byrd's Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.

Nike EYBL Peachology: The Risers & Fallers
INDIANAPOLIS -- The sample size has doubled, so has the urgency to create some separation from the pack. While teams used Nike EYBL Session I to build a foundation, Session II at Jonathan Byrd's Fieldhouse was about bringing the intensity to make a statement.

The goal for every squad is obviously to get to Peach Jam in July. Some helped their cases over the weekend. Others took a tumble or slid even deeper into a hole. There's still time to regroup and make a run with two weeks before Session III in Atlanta, but here is how teams stack up in this week's Peachology.

THE PERFECTIONISTS

It would be impossible to go an entire sentence here without mentioning MOKAN Elite (KS). After all, the EYBL's only undefeated team deserves all the love and credit for piecing together another 4-0 weekend. Much like the week before, though, they were not alone. All Ohio Red (OH), E1T1 United (FL), and Howard Pulley (MN) each had a perfect run to boost its stock.

THE RISERS

From "Last 4 In" to safely in the field, NJ Playaz and New York Lightning each had a solid Session II. However, none jumped as much than All Ohio Red, which went from a No. 5 seed to No. 2, and perhaps none was as impressive as Howard Pulley to move up to No. 1. PSA Cardinals is still grinding out wins to move up, too.

THE FALLERS

It wasn't a great weekend for either MeanStreets (IL) or The City Rocks (NY). After perfect starts, each dropped multiple games in Session II. In fact, The City Rocks dropped all four. Of course they were not the only teams to dip a little, but no squad suffered more in this bracket projection than them.

THE WINLESS

Kudos to The Family Detroit (MI) and Las Vegas Prospects (NV) for bouncing back and getting two wins in Session II. Credit to UPlay Canada and Southern Stampede for notching a win as well. Although it is somewhat understandable why Portland Basketball Club (OR), Team United (NC) and Pro Skills (TX) are still searching for their first victories, there is not a more head-scratching team than Nike Phamily. With the nation's No. 1 player, Marvin Bagley III, it should seem like they would have found a rhythm by now, but there are more questions than answers at 0-8 to start the EYBL season.

THE PEACHOLOGY

Taking into account the record and schedule, here is what FloHoops thinks the seedings for Peach Jam stand after Session II:
