Brian Bowen Becomes Louisville's Highest Ranked Recruit Since 2008
Brian Bowen commits to play college basketball with the Louisville Cardinals.
Alas! Brian Bowen, one of the remaining two Flo40 prospects has finally committed, and the Louisville Cardinals are the lucky winners. After rumors hit twitter about Bowen enrolling in summer school, the No. 15 ranked prospect in Flo40 Class of 2017 made his announcement via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

With the commitment, Bowen becomes Head Coach Rick Pitino's overall third-highest ranked recruit while at Louisville, coming before 2004 No. 6 Sebastian Telfair and 2008 No. 4 Samardo Samuels.
There is no short story to Bowen's recruitment, as it seemed the tides rolled with a new team on a monthly basis. The La Lumiere School (IN) guard chose Louisville over Texas, Arizona, Michigan State & Creighton. Additionally, it would be fair to say former La Lumiere Head Coach Shane Heirman's staff at DePaul lost out on this deal too.
Bowen finished his in undoubtedly the most star-studded way possible. The senior capped off his season as a DICK'S National Champion, McDonald's All-American, and Jordan Brand Classic MVP.
