As soon as Chris Holtmann was hired at Ohio State this summer, the college hoops world knew it would be a great match to help turn the program around. The last few days have been resounding proof of it starting already.
The Buckeyes landed four, yes four, commitments this past week to give Holtmann an impressive start on the recruiting trail before ever coaching a game in Columbus, Ohio.
From athletic swingman Jaedon LeDee to clutch shooter Duane Washington Jr. to bucket getter Luther Muhammmad to talented in-state wing Justin Ahrens recommitting, the future at Ohio State is looking bright with this 2018 class.

For as big as this week was for the Buckeyes, they weren't the only team to make a massive splash in the last seven days.
Kentucky got its future elite point guard in Flo40 No. 12 Immanuel Quickley. Oregon locked up No. 17 Louis King, and Kansas struck gold once again in landing Oak Hill Academy (VA) big man David McCormack.
