It's what makes the Brentwood Academy (TN) floor general so tough to stop. It's what makes him one of the best point guards in the country.

Throughout the course of last season, FloHoops sat front row as Garland dominated some of the best backcourts in the country at the 2016 Culligan City of Palms Classic and in the Nike EYBL with Bradley Beal Elite. After several evaluations, Garland landed at the No. 8 spot in the Flo40 2018 rankings. Currently, he is the top available point guard in the country and has named Indiana, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, UCLA, and Vanderbilt as his final six.
