Devon Dotson stood inside the Providence Day (NC) gym on Friday ready to end his recruitment.
Following a short speech, with his family sitting behind him, the 6-foot-2 point guard and 2018 Flo40 No. 28 prospect unpacked a bag with a hat, put it on, and unzipped his jacked to reveal the big decision.
Dotson will play for the Kansas Jayhawks starting in the 2018-19 season.
Dotson, one of the top point guards and one of the toughest players in the country, chose Kansas over Maryland, and is the third prospect to commit to Bill Self's Jayhawks for 2018, joining IMG Academy (FL) and Flo40 No. 34 Silvo De Sousa and Oak Hill Academy (VA) big man David McCormack.
