Flo40 No. 15 Emmitt Williams Arrested On Serious Charges In Florida
Oak Ridge (FL) forward Emmitt Williams was arrested on October 18 and charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment.
One of the nation’s top prospects is facing serious charges in Florida and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.
Emmitt Williams, the 2018 Flo40 No. 15 prospect, was arrested early Wednesday morning by the Orlando Police Department and charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment.
Bond was set at $3,500.
Williams, a 6-foot-8 power forward who averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds at Nike Peach Jam, had recently taken official visits to Oregon and LSU and holds several other high-major offers, including from Duke, Kansas, Florida, Miami, and Louisville.
Williams, 19, transferred from IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, to Oak Ridge in Orlando for his senior season.
