2018 Flo40 No. 1 R.J. Barrett Commits To Duke
Canada native R.J. Barrett, the best high school player on the planet, has committed to play for Duke and head coach Mike Krzyzewski next season.
For as many big stages as R.J. Barrett has been on throughout his sensational prep career, the spotlight had never been brighter than what it was on Friday. He was back home in Canada, surrounded by his family and friends, and ready to make his college announcement.
Barrett wasted no time to reveal his decision, either. The best high school player on the planet will play at Duke next season.
A 6-foot-7 smooth left-handed star from national powerhouse Montverde Academy (FL) chose the Blue Devils other finalists Kentucky and Oregon, and joins Flo40 No. 3 Cameron Reddish and No. 5 Tre Jones in what will be another monster class for head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
