It was only a matter of time before the hoops stars of yesterday would make headlines as the parents of star prospects and that time is now. The NBA lineage in the high school game today is crazy and there will be no better display of it than at the American Family Insurance Hoophall West this weekend.

With seven players and one coach with direct family ties to the NBA, the two-day showcase put on by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Scottsdale, AZ, will be filled with familiar names live on FloHoops: 

— Clark High School (NV) senior guard Greg Foster Jr. is the son of former 13-year NBA veteran and current Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Greg Foster.

— Crossroads (AZ) senior forward Shareef O’Neal is the son of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and four-time champion Shaquille O’Neal.

— Findlay Prep (NV) senior center Bol Bol is the son of the late Manute Bol, a 12-year NBA veteran who is second all-time in average blocked shots per game.

— Shadow Mountain (AZ) head coach Mike Bibby is a former 14-year NBA veteran guard.

— Shadow Mountain (AZ) junior guard Jaelen House is the son of former 11-year NBA veteran guard and one-time champion Eddie House and nephew of Mike Bibby.

— Sierra Canyon (CA) junior forward Kenyon Martin Jr. is the son of former No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick (2000) and All-Star forward Kenyon Martin.

— Sierra Canyon (CA) junior guard Scottie Pippen Jr. is the son of two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and six-time champion Scottie Pippen.

— Sierra Canyon (CA) senior guard Duane Washington Jr. is the nephew of former NBA guard and five-time champion Derek Fisher.
