Montverde Academy (FL), Oak Hill Academy (FL), University School (FL), and Memphis East (TN) ring in the new year at the top of FloHoops' new team rankings.
A brand new year deserves brand new rankings, but there is nothing too different about the first top 25 in 2018. The same powerhouses continued to take care of business this past week, still hold down the top spots, and will remain to be the teams to beat for the foreseeable future.
As of right now, the first four spots featuring Montverde Academy (FL), Oak Hill Academy (VA), University School (FL), and Memphis East (TN) are pretty well locked while the rest is seemingly up for grabs.
There will be plenty of movement this month with big events such as the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, MA, and ARS Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest in Tampa, FL, streaming live on FloHoops, and it should create some bigger debates as to who truly is the best team in the country.
