The Big Ten Conference regular season is young and it is already wild. The usual suspects are still at the top, but there are some programs off to perhaps unexpected hot starts.

Take Rutgers, for example. The Scarlet Knights were not picked high in the preseason polls, but sit at No. 21 nationally and have a 4-0 mark to start league play.

That undefeated start will be put to the test at Purdue on Wednesday, while No. 23 Michigan has two games to help headline a six-game slate live on FloHoops from Jan. 8-14.
