FloHoops' Top 25 Prep Rankings (Jan. 23)
Montverde Academy and Oak Hill Academy are in a league of their own atop the rankings as the 2017-18 campaign heads down the home stretch.
As Montverde Academy (FL) and Oak Hill Academy (VA) took center stage at the ARS Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest in Tampa, FL, one thing became clearer than ever before: Those are the best two teams in the country, and it’s not even close.
Sure, both the No. 1 Eagles and No. 2 Warriors have played, and won, more meaningful games this season, but as the home stretch nears, what’s important is each took care of business and continues to do so no matter what.
While the hoops world will debate which squad is better, and there likely is a legitimate case for both teams, the only place it could be settled is at DICK’s Nationals. Just know Montverde, which hosts a star-studded tournament this weekend, and Oak Hill are in a league of their own while everyone else battles for the spots behind them.
