125 - Drew Hildebrandt (Central Michigan) vs Noah Surtin (Missouri)

So far just handfighting through the first minute, but early in minute #2, Surtin gets in on a single. Hildebrandt scrambles to a stalemate near the edge. Surtin shoots again, and Hildebrandt scores on a go behind. He's up 2-0 to end the period!

Surtin chooses neutral in the second period. Surtin shoots again, and Hildebrandt counters with a single with 45 seconds to go. Stalemate with 37 seconds left. No more points in the second period.

Hildebrandt takes bottom in the third period. He hits a reversal in 13 seconds for 2 points but cuts Surtin. It's 4-1. Surtin is hand fighting, but Hildebrandt remains in control. He gets a go-behind for 2 more and leads 6-1. Hildebrandt is the first MAC champ of the day!

133 - Matt Schmitt (Missouri) vs Richie Koehler (Rider)

Schmitt gets in on a single right away. Koehler counters, but Schmitt ends up with the takedown he leads 2-0 25 seconds in. He cuts Koehler on a restart. Another single and quick trip to finish makes it 4-1 for Schmitt. They're out of bounds at 1:47. Schmitt rides hard for the rest of the period. It's 4-1 with a mountain of riding time.

Neutral to start the second period. Schmitt gets locked on a head inside single and ends up with a neutral danger takedown. It's 6-1. The action goes off the mat a couple of times. Koehler eventually earns the escape with 30 seconds left in the period to make it 6-2. That's how the period ends.

Koehler chooses bottom in the third. He gets a reversal to make it 6-4 early in the 3rd. They get a fresh start with 1:02 left in the period. Koehler elects to cut Schmitt with about 30 seconds left. Koehler gets a takedown, but that's all he can get. Schmit gets the win and is the MAC champ.

141 - McKenzie Bell (Rider) vs Dresden Simon (Central Michigan)

Central Michigan trails Rider by 5 team points headed into this head-to-head matchup in the finals. Simon hits a high crotch and finishes to take a 2-0 lead, but Bell gets out to make it 2-1. Simon gets anther quick takedown and 2 nearfall to make it 6-1. Bell gets another escape with 1:15 left, but Simon hits a quick takedown to make it 8-2. Bell gets out again with 40 seconds left, so it's 8-3. Bell takes a shot at the end of the period, but there's no time to score.

Bell takes bottom in the second. He's out quickly to make it 8-4. Bell gets hit for stalling for backing out of bounds with 1:15 to go. Simon drops in on a clean double and finishes to make it 10-4. Bell gets an escape with 30 seconds to go to make it 10-5. Simon was close to a takedown on the edge with less than 10 seconds to go. No takedown. Now we have blood time. That's how the second ends.

Simon chooses bottom in the third. Bell rides well early in the third, and Simon gets hit for stalling at the 1 minute mark. Bell is hit for an illegal hold, so Simon gets another point, then Bell cuts Simon so it's 12-5. That's how the match ends. Dresden Simon is a MAC champ with a 12-5 win.

149 - Brock Mauller (Missouri) vs Marcus Robinson (Cleveland State)

Mauller gets a takedown in the first minute and leads 2-0. During the ride, both Mauller and Robinson get hit for stalling. 1:23 remaining. Mauller rides out the period and takes 2-0 lead into the second.

Mauller takes bottom in the second. Mauller gets out and it's 3-0. The commentary team is discussing how they might fare in a wrestling match against one another, but Mauller gets in on a shot and finishes. He leads 5-0 heading into the third.

Robinson chooses neutral for the third period. A takedown for Mauller could make this a major. He's unable to get the takedown but does take the MAC title with a 6-0 victory.

157 - Jesse Dellavecchia (Rider) vs Jarrett Jacques (Missouri)

No committed attacks in the first minute. Dellavecchia gets to a low single, and we're scrambling. It ends in a stalemate with 54 seconds to go. No score after the first.

Dellavecchia chooses bottom in the second. He's out in 8 seconds and leads 1-0. He drops in on a shot quickly. After a scramble that lasted over a minute, Dellavecchia was awarded a takedown. Aftar a couple of nearfall swipes, the officials stopped the action due to a Brian Smith challenge. Currently, it's 3-0, but that could change depending on this review. The ruling is 2 for the takedown but no nearfall. Dellavecchia leads 3-0 with 23 seconds to go.

Jacques takes neutral in the third. Jacques gets behind from a high crotch, but Dellavecchia sneaks in a whizzer. They go out of bounds with 52 seconds left, and Dellavecchia still leads 3-0. Jacques shoots again, and they're scrambling. He gets the takedown but doesn't have enough time to work. Dellavecchia wins 3-2.

165 - Keegan O`Toole (Missouri) vs Izzak Olejnik (Northern Illinois)

Not much offense in the first minute. Olejnik gets in on a deep shot in the second minute, but it's stalemated. He gets in deep again on a head outside single with 30 seconds to go, but they go out of bounds. No score after the first period.

O'Toole chooses bottom in the second and gets a quick escape to make it 1-0. Olejnik looked for a slide-by takedown, but O'Toole scrambled to the takedown. Northern Illinois is challenging. If this stands, it's 3-0 for O'Toole. The call is confirmed, and O'Toole is on top with 1:05 to go in the second. Olejnik is out with about 30 seconds to go. It's 3-1 at the end of the second.

Olejnik takes bottom in the third. He's out in the first 10 seconds to make it 3-2. Keegan gets to a single and works to finish for a long time. He finally finishes on the edge with 30 seconds to go. He leads 5-2, and they go out of bounds. O'Toole finishes on top and is a MAC champ.

174 - Andrew McNally (Kent State) vs Peyton Mocco (Missouri)

McNally finishes a high crotch, but Mocco gets a reversal. It's 2-2. McNally gets out, and he leads 3-2. McNally attacks again with a high crotch. He scrambles out the back door, but the action goes out of bounds without a second takedown. That's how the period ends.

McNally chooses bottom in the second. He comes to his feet and earns a reversal to take a 5-2 lead. McNally locks on a cradle, but he can't make it work. He locks up another cradle now under a minute and tries to turn Mocco. Mocco scrambles out for a reversal, but McNally gets back on top. It's now 7-4, and neither guy earned any nearfall. They may need to review this. After the review, it's 7-6 for McNally as Mocco was awarded two nearfall. They end the period in this potision.

Mocco chooses bottom in the third. He's out in the first 15 seconds. It's 7-7, but McNally has riding time. Mocco attacks with short time, but he can't get the takedown. McNally wins 8-7 on riding time.

184 - Brit Wilson (Northern Illinois) vs Jeremiah Kent (Missouri)

A lot of handfighting through the first half of the period. Kent attacked, and Wilson re-attacked at about 1:40, but nobody could score. Wilson shoots again with less than a minute to go. The action gets stalemated with 23 seconds left. No score after the first.

Wilson chooses bottom in the second. Kent tries to settle in with a leg ride. Wilson gets under the leg on the right side, but Kent is still getting riding time. Wilson eventually gets the reversal with 54 seconds left. Kent tries to roll from bottom off a restart and Wilson catches him on his back. It's a fall for Wilson!

197 - Ben Smith (Cleveland State) vs Rocky Elam (Missouri)

Smith attacks early, but Elam re-attacks and gets a takedown to earn a 2-0 lead. Smith gets out half way through the period, and it's 2-1. That's how the period will end.

Elam chooses bottom in the second. He's out quickly, so it's 3-1. Elam drops to a single and finishes. He leads 5-1. Smith escapes to make it 5-2, but Elam attacks again right away. They go out of bounds, so there's no score with 4 seconds left. That's how the period ends.

Smith chooses bottom in the third. He gets out 20 seconds in, and it's 5-3. Smith shoots, but Elam scores on a re-attack, and it's 7-3. Smith gets out, and it's 7-4. Elam hits another single and trips to finish. He gets riding time and wins 10-4.

285 - Matt Stencel (Central Michigan) vs Ethan Laird (Rider)

Neither guy attacks in the first minute. They're feeling each other out. The second minute is more of the same. Still tied at zero. Stencel did have a snap, and Laird had a cautious re-attack in that minute. No committed attacks in the third minute we're heading into a scoreless second period.

Stencel chooses bottom in the second. He's up and out in 5 seconds to take a 1-0 lead. Stencel attacks with a body lock at the 1 minute mark. The action is wild but goes off the mat. No score, but Central Michigan challenges. The challenge is denied, so it's still 1-0 for Stencel. Laird attacked, but Stencel re-attacked for the takedown. He was close to nearfall but just gets the 2. It's 3-0.

Laird chooses bottom in the third. He's out to make it 3-1. Laird hits a duck, but Stencel ends up scrambling for the takedown. Stencel now leads 5-1 with a minute left. Laird escapes to make ti 5-2. he attacks but ends up giving up another takedown to make it 8-2 after riding time. He's a 4x MAC champ.
