CAA Announces Postponements & Rescheduling Of Conference Basketball Games

The CAA has announced the postponement of five upcoming women’s basketball games and the rescheduling of two men’s and two women’s games.

CAA Announces Postponements & Rescheduling Of Conference Basketball Games

RICHMOND, Va. (December 28, 2021) – The Colonial Athletic Association has announced the postponement of five upcoming women’s basketball games and the rescheduling of two men’s and two women’s basketball contests.

Delaware’s women’s basketball games against James Madison on December 31 and Towson on January 2 have been postponed due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Delaware and JMU programs. The Blue Hens’ game with JMU has been rescheduled for January 18 at 6 p.m., while a date for the contest against Towson will be determined at a later time.

Northeastern’s women’s basketball games against Charleston on December 31 and UNCW on January 2 have been postponed due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Northeastern program. The game between Northeastern and Charleston has been rescheduled for January 26 at 7 p.m. at Northeastern’s Cabot Center. The rescheduling of the Northeastern game vs. UNCW will be determined at a later time.

William & Mary’s women’s basketball game at Elon, scheduled for January 2, has been postponed until January 4 at 4 p.m. due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Elon program.

The women’s basketball game between Drexel and JMU, which was previously scheduled for January 2, will now be played on February 16 at 5 p.m. at Drexel’s Daskalakis Athletic Center.

The men’s basketball game between Drexel and Charleston, which was previously scheduled for December 29, will now be played on February 14 at 7 p.m. at Charleston’s TD Arena. The men’s basketball game between Drexel and UNCW, which was previously scheduled for December 31, will now be played on January 31 at 7 p.m. at UNCW’s Trask Coliseum.
