Three GLIAC teams -- Northern Michigan, Ferris State and Parkside -- are among the field of 64 that will compete in the 2023 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship, the NCAA Division II Men’s Committee announced late on Sunday evening.

After a regular season full of surprises, the GLIAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments are set to start, with the higher-seeded team in each game earning the right to host those games.

In a Division II baseball league that had plenty of standouts a season ago, the games in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference are about to get even more competitive.
