Charles O'Bannon's Tunnel Vision To Return From Injury

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A sneaker was on one foot. A walking boot covered the other. As frustrating as it was, all Charles O’Bannon could do was watch from the end of the bench in sweats.

A foot injury in practice forced the talented guard to miss Friday night’s game in the American Family Insurance Hoophall West at Chaparral High School, and Bishop Gorman (NV) could have used its star.

Playing against No. 8 Chino Hills with LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball proved to be too much for the Gaels in an 84-70 loss.

O’Bannon, the No. 36 prospect for 2017, is ready to be back, and should be soon. And despite being uncommitted, playing again is his only focus.
