The Big Reason Shai Alexander Signed With Kentucky

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Hamilton Heights Christian (TN) guard Shai Alexander wants to be part of something special next season. It’s one of the big reasons why he chose to sign with Kentucky. In the meantime, though, he is making a big name for himself during his final prep season.

In one of the most efficient stretches of his year so far, Alexander took home Chick-fil-A Classic National Division All-Tournament Team honors after averaging 18.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in three games.

Alexander spoke with FloHoops’ Jaki Golder following his squad's 56-53 upset win over No. 12 Greensboro Day (NC) in the opening round of the holiday tournament on Dec. 21.
