Former Boston College Star Troy Bell Encourages Prospects To Steal Moves During The Offseason

What are you doing to improve this offseason?

For any prospect trying to take his or her game to the next level, especially during Nike EYBL and GEYBL, one of the best to do it has some advice: steal other players' moves.

Whether it’s a slight hesitation an opponent does before putting it on the deck or how they find ways to get off shots, former Boston College great Troy Bell is about that stealing moves life and encourages the next generation to do the same, especially during the spring and summer months.

"It's the offseason fellas and ladies," Bell said. "If you're not adding to your game right now, what are you doing?"

Bell, a former All-American and two-time Big East Player of the Year, certainly has the credentials and track record to prove that it works, too. The 6-foot-1 point guard and No. 16 overall selection in the 2003 NBA Draft has studied other players and made those moves his own.

Much like Kobe Bryant emulated Michael Jordan, Bell, who played for the Howard Pulley Panthers (MN) during his AAU days, always looked for ways to improve his game during these spring and summer months, and the result was a big-time professional career.

Hear more words of wisdom from Bell, who played for the Memphis Grizzlies as well as in the NBDL and many of the top Euro leagues.
