Nike EYBL Prospect Pass: E1T1's Emmitt Williams

Emmitt Williams walked off the court late on Saturday night with just as much energy as he had to start the day. It didn’t matter that the 6-foot-8 Flo40 power forward had played his third game in 24 hours. He was worked up and would have done anything to get a few more seconds put back on the clock.

This had nothing to do with the outcome, though. His E1T1 United (FL) squad had taken care of business to cruise over the Georgia Stars 79-63 at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, VA. Williams, being the fierce competitor he is, just wanted another rebound, which would have been his 20th, to go along with his 22 points.

So, yes, the biggest riser in the 2018 class -- going from unranked to No. 11 in the Flo40 -- wanted to keep playing and continue to show his incredible junior season at IMG Academy (FL) was only the beginning.

Ironically enough, all it took was one more day to hit that 20-20 mark. Williams followed up with 26 points and 21 rebounds on Sunday to help E1T1 improve to 3-1 during Nike EYBL Session I.

Averaging 18.2 points and 12.5 rebounds so far, Williams can continue his climb to the top this weekend and let everyone at Jonathan Byrd’s Fieldhouse in Indianapolis that he isn’t going anywhere.
