CARTERSVILLE, GA — The early morning start didn’t seem to bother Duane Washington. Actually, it made him better. The Family Detroit (MI) guard was feeling it from deep on Court 2 at LakePoint Sporting Community — Champions Center.

So with under one minute to play, and needing a bucket to escape NY Rens’ comeback attempt, Washington pulled up from the left wing and splashed it home for the deciding bucket in a 72-71 victory.
