Bol Bol's 3-Point Accuracy Makes Him Unstoppable At This Level
The release point is untouchable. The accuracy is unbelievable. Playing against California Supreme big man Bol Bol meant trouble all Nike EYBL season, and it is getting to be unfair.
A FloHoops All-EYBL First-Team selection, the 7-foot-2 center led the league’s most potent offense by averaging 24.1 points and 10 rebounds and got it done on the defensive end with 4.4 blocks per game. The numbers are staggering, yes, but how the Flo40 prospect made it happen is even more impressive.
Bol, currently ranked No. 17 in the 2018 class, was an absolute force each time he stepped on the hardwood. He shot 65 percent from the field (142 for 218) in 15 games. But just when you think a prospect of his height and 7-foot-8 wingspan did all the damage down low, it’s his 3-point accuracy that made the biggest difference.
In addition to dominating the paint, dropping in a ridiculous 71 percent, Bol cashed in 47 percent (24 for 51) from deep.
This is nothing new, though. His father, NBA legend Manute Bol, could stroke it from the outside, too.
Bol’s offensive arsenal is virtually unstoppable, and it’s a big reason why he will see a massive rise in the updated 2018 Flo40 rankings later this month.
