2018 Flo40 No. 1 Marvin Bagley III: The Putback King Of High School Basketball

Marvin Bagley III: The Putback King

At 6-foot-10 with next-level athleticism, Marvin Bagley III is the unanimous No. 1 prospect in the country for many, almost countless, reasons. One of them is his uncanny ability to crash the offensive glass.

Throughout the Nike EYBL Finals at Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina, the Nike Phamily (California) superstar was unstoppable to contain -- no matter how hard opponents tried. Bagley attacked any defense imaginable and used his physical advantages to average 23.4 points and a tournament-high 13.4 rebounds.

He can dominate the paint unlike any prospect and was a force at the Riverview Park Activities Center in corralling and finishing offensive rebounds. It’s the main reason his squad won more games at Peach Jam (three) than it did during the regular season (two).

There’s no doubt Bagley, the 2018 Flo40 No. 1 player, has all the tools to play college basketball right now, and it has to be why he is on Duke’s campus this weekend for an official visit.

Although no decision to reclassify has been made, Bagley’s ability to finish almost anything around the rim makes him the putback king of high school hoops unless he skips his final prep season.
