How Villanova Commit Brandon Slater Can Elevate Paul VI To A Huge Season

Time and time again, Brandon Slater finds himself on the biggest stages. It’s not a coincidence, either.

At 6-foot-5 with long arms and the ability to make an impact on both ends, the 2018 Villanova commit is not just a fluid athlete. He also knows how to do the little things to win.

From playing in the WCAC Tournament championship game with Paul VI (VA) last season to making an impressive run to the Nike Peach Jam title game in July with Team Takeover (DC), Slater always seems to elevate his game when it matters most.

As he gets stronger, becomes a more assertive scorer, and stays locked in on defense, Slater, who averaged 11.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game at Peach Jam, has the opportunity to lead Paul VI to huge wins in the ARS Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest series and Chick-fil-A Classic this season.

If he switches gears like he did this summer, he can take his squad back to the championship and make a lasting mark in one of the toughest leagues in the entire country.
